WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Denim Jeans

  • Mixed cotton DK yarn- I have used 6 colours

  • 2mm Crochet Hook

  • 4mm Crochet Hook

  • Tape measure

  • Knitting needle

  • Pen

  • Scissors

STEP 1:

Take your jeans and measure around 15cm from hem or to your desired length. Note: The frill we will be adding to the bottom is around 10cm.

STEP 2 :

Cut one leg at a time and use first cut line as a guide for the second leg.

Remember to keep these small offs cuts as they are perfect for patches!

STEP 3:

Using the tape measure 1cm above from cut hem and mark with a small dot at 1cm intervals all the way around the bottom of your jeans leg. These marks are where we will do our first crochet row.

STEP 4:

Using your Knitting needle poke a hole in your denim where you have marked, this is what you will be crocheting through.

For your first row use the 2mm needle, it is smaller than you would usually use for this yarn but enables you to go through the denim easier.
